Quick Points Ruler : Quiltmania Issue N°82
This a magic ruler to make those pretty prairie point borders with just four cuts of your rotary cutter and a little pressing.
Available in three different widths, either individually or as a set. Measure the length of the desired border, cut a strip the width of the ruler, cut through each slit of the ruler with a rotary cutter, fold the squares in half (like a garland) to create the points, spray a little starch and press, then stabilise the bottom of the strip with a line of machine stitching. Now, all you have to do is sew it around your quilt top.
